SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Knight has an exclusive non-GI Bill-funded CDL Scholarship Program that is only open to Veterans, spouses, or dependents. The Scholarship Program offers Veterans the free opportunity to earn their CDL with full paid tuition and expenses covered for lodging and travel.
APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
The Apprenticeship Program is the only nationally accredited program in the country. Eligible Veterans can use available benefits to receive an ES BAH or higher from their home state for 12 months. First-year Veterans eligible for our program make up to $75,000 at Knight Transportation.
TRANSPORTATION ACADEMY
Our CDL program, located in Phoenix, AZ, is open to residents across the United States. We provide expert driver training to help our drivers develop a long-lasting career. Students pair with a trainer who is committed to each Veteran’s success. At Knight, not just anyone can be a trainer – they are hand-selected, with vast industry knowledge & expertise to provide the best training possible to prepare you for the road ahead.
We also have a wide range of CDL School Partners across the country to provide the best over-the-road (OTR) training in the industry.
THE MILLION MILE CLUB

THE UNITED SERVICES MILITARY APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
(USMAP) The USMAP helps give service members entering the civilian workplace the chance to improve their job skills from on-the-job training while earning a competitive wage from day one. Eligible Veterans can:
- Get hired before you come to CDL school
- Get paid each week of training
- Receive no delay in pay while in CDL school
